Arthur J. LeClerc, 77, of Allenstown died March 21, 2005 at Ridgewood Center in Bedford following a lengthy illness. Arthur was born on April 14, 1927 in Manchester, son of the late Albert and Aurore (Boisvert) LeClerc. He was raised in Manchester and attended St. Marie School. Arthur was a US Navy veteran who served in World War II and was a member of the VFW in Suncook. He worked in the construction industry for 35 years as a cement finisher. He retired in the mid 1980s from Brown & Beaton in Concord after 10 years of service. Arthur enjoyed doing crafts and woodworking. He was an avid Red Sox fan who also enjoyed watching baseball and wrestling. He was a loving husband and father and will be missed dearly. Family members include; his wife of 55 years, Rachel (Paradis) LeClerc; a daughter and son-in-law, Denise and Roland Arcand of Allenstown; three sisters, Rita Marchand and Lillian LeClerc both of Manchester and Beatrice Leavitt of Claremont; and several nieces and nephews. Arthur was predeceased by his six brothers. A Memorial Service will be celebrated on Thursday, March 24th at 1:00 PM at Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover Street in Manchester. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
