Arthur E. Michaud

Arthur E. Michaud, 55, of 1213 Somerville Street, Manchester, died August 22, 2000 at his residence. He was born in Manchester on October 30, 1944, the son of Leo and Antoinette (Jalbert) Michaud and had been a lifelong resident of the Queen City. He worked over 20 years with the U.S. Postal Service and was union representative for the postal workers union. Arthur was a member of the Davignon Club and also worked for them. He was a US Army Veteran. Family members include a son, Jeffrey Michaud of Whitinsville, Ma., a sister Doris Harrahy of Auburn, Ma., his close companion Carol Machos with whom he resided with, a niece, a nephew and cousins. SERVICES: A calling hour with be at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 243 Hanover, Friday afternoon from 2 to 3 with a service immediately following in the funeral home chapel at 3 o'clock. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Visiting Nurse, Home Health Care, 1850 Elm Street, Manchester, NH 03104.
