ARTHUR ELMORE TYLER, JR.

LITTLETON  Arthur E. Tyler, Jr., 69, of Mt. Eustis Road, passed away on January 30, 2004 at the Littleton Regional Hospital as a result of having Leukemia for 2  years.

Arthur was born in Woodsville, NH on February 18, 1934, a son to Arthur Elmore and Ida (Kendall) Tyler, Sr.

Arthur was employed by the New England Wire Mill in Lisbon, Littleton and Lisbon Chevrolet, and St. Johnsbury Trucking Company for 29 years. He was a member of The Retired Teamsters Union, The American Legion, The Littleton Senior Citizens, The Bethlehem Country Club and past president of The Lisbon Stump Jumpers. Arthur enjoyed playing pool, camping, and was an avid golfer.

Surviving family members include his wife of 49 years, Joyce Tyler of Littleton; two sons, Arthur David Tyler of Rochester, NH; Jeffrey Tyler of San Francisco, CA; two daughters, Janet Dishler of Lockwood, NY; Lisa Tyler-Rogus of Somersworth, NH; four grandchildren, Joseph Dishler, Matthew Dishler, Bethany Dishler, and Erin Rogus; and one brother, Dexter Tyler of Syracuse, NY. His parents, one sister, Madalyn Mudd and one brother, George Tyler predeceased him.

SERVICES  A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, February 6, 2004 at the Pillsbury Funeral Home Lisbon Chapel, 77 South Main Street, Lisbon, NH at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Lyn O. McIntosh officiating. Burial will be in the Grove Hill Cemetery in Lisbon, NH in the spring.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made in his name to the Oncology Department of the Littleton Regional Hospital, 600 St. Johnsbury Road, Littleton, NH 03561, Dartmouth Hitchcock Hospital, One Medical Center Drive, Lebanon, NH 03766, or a charity of ones choice.
