Arthur L. Wharem

ARTHUR L. WHAREM, SR. MANCHESTER – Arthur L. Wharem, Sr., 83, died Thursday, August 14, 2008 at Elliot Hospital, in Manchester. Mr. Wharem was born on January 25, 1925, in Newport, NH, the son of the late Samuel W. and Nellie (Colby) Wharem. He was a lifelong resident of Manchester. At the time of his employment, he was a self-employed antique dealer, specializing in antique guns and clocks. He was an avid fisherman Mr. Wharem was a veteran, having served in the United States Navy. Members of his family include; his wife of 62 years, Anita (Roberts) Wharem, of Manchester; 1 son, Arthur L. Wharem, Jr., of Manchester; a daughter, JoAnn Gagne, of Bedford, NH; 3 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. SERVICES: There are no calling hours or services planned.
