Athena Zekopoulos

Athena Zekopoulos “Tina” – Manchester, NH Age 79 of Manchester, died Monday November 14th at Elliott Hospital in Manchester. She was born in Manchester on July 15, 1926 the Daughter of Eleftherios and Olga (Tsaknakas) Zekopoulos. A lifelong Queen City resident, she had attended Manchester Schools. She had retired from Raytheon Corporation after many years of service. She greatly loved her family and enjoyed spending time with all of them, she will be sadly missed by them all. She is survived by her beloved Sister, Voula Paglierani and her husband Ralph H. of Hooksett and her Brother Soterios Zekopoulos and his wife Bessie of Manchester. In Her Life: She was affectionately known as “Tete” by her nieces; Lynn Morancy of Celebration FL., Susan and Shanan Clark of Hooksett, JoAnn Launier of Bedford, Kimberly Launier of NYC, Amy Florek of Manchester, Mia Paglierani of Auburn. Nephews; Steven Paglierani of Auburn, Michael Morancy of Celebration, FL, Peter Poulios of Hooksett, Philip Poulios of Boston, MA, Alan and Michael Poulios of Manchester, and long time companion, Louis Millardo of Salem, NH. She was pre-deceased by her Sister, Helen Poulios on October 22, 2001. Calling hours are Wednesday November 16th from 5 – 8 PM at Phaneuf Funeral Home & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street. The Trisageon Service will take place in the funeral home at 6:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday November 17th at St. George’s Greek Orthodox Cathedral. A private interment will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
