Barbara L. Bennett

August 7, 1966 — June 25, 2025

Pembroke, NH

Barbara Lynn Bennett, 58, passed away unexpectedly on June 25, 2025. Born on August 7, 1966, in Lewiston, Maine, Barbara was the beloved daughter of the late Dale and Bernice (Radcliff) Page. She was raised in Poland, Maine, and attended an adult education program in Mechanical Falls.

Barbara spent most of her life in Maine before relocating to New Hampshire in the early 2000s, where she made a new home in Pembroke. She worked as an administrative assistant at the Pembroke Community Action Program, where her deep compassion and unwavering commitment to helping others touched countless lives. Whether organizing resources for families in need or offering a kind word to a stranger, Barbara had a rare gift for making people feel seen and supported.

A true friend to all, Barbara’s warmth and humor lit up every room she entered. She was known for her love of gardening, her cherished dogs, and her fierce devotion to her family, and she never missed a chance to tell others how proud she was of them.

Barbara’s talent for couponing was legendary—earning her playful praise for her Olympic-level extreme couponing. Her savvy sense of savings was only matched by her generosity, often using her bounty to help those around her.

She is survived by her sons, Rick and Michael Bennett of Poland, ME; her devoted partner, Neil Brown of Pembroke, NH; her brothers, Wayne, Albert, and Timothy Page, all of Poland, ME; dear friends Jill and Candace who enriched her life in so many ways; and many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Barbara was predeceased by her parents, her husband Richard Bennett Jr., her brother Chester Page, and her sister Carol Page.

Barbara’s life was defined by kindness, resilience, and love. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A graveside service will be held at Highland Cemetery in West Poland, Maine. The date and time will be announced at a later date.

Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium is assisting the family with arrangements.
