Barbara D. Beyer – Bedford, NH. Age 68, of Nashua died Thursday October 6th at Ridgewood Center in Bedford. She was born on June 8, 1937 in Jersey City, NJ. The daughter of Robert and Lillian (Nick) Beyer. She was raised and educated in Spring Valley, NY. She graduated from the Plainfield Academy in Plainfield, NJ in 1955. She was the Valedictorian, Senior Class President, Year Book President, and won 2 oratory speech awards. She was married in 1956. She devoted her life to her children, and being a mother was her life’s work. As a child she enjoyed playing jax, and taking care of her Sister Joyce. As an adult, she was best friends with her Sister Kathe. She enjoyed reading, and research. She read literally hundreds of books and was an extremely intelligent woman. She was very close to her Mother Lillian, and maintained a special relationship with her until her passing in April of 2005. She is survived by 3 Sons; Terrence J. Coyman of Belmont, NH., Adam T. Coyman and his wife Tiffany of Claremont, FL. And Matt Coyman of Merrimack, NH. 3 Daughters; Robin Becker of Concord, NH., Dr. Merre Coyman and her husband James Youmans of Beaufort, SC., and Darralyn Lilpi and her husband Rikko of Harvard, MA. 1 Brother, Richard Beyer of Hudson, FL. 3 Sisters; Kathleen Newell of Murphy, NC., Laurie Dickenson of Norman, OK., and Marguriette Peccorelle of Belmont, ME. Several nieces and nephews also survive her. Friends and Family are invited to share in a “Celebration of Life” on Sunday October 9th from 2 – 5:00 PM at the Phaneuf Funeral Home & Crematorium 243 Hanover Street Manchester.
