Barbara S. Bourgeois, 80, of Goffstown passed away on October 8, 2019 at Hillsborough County Nursing Home in Goffstown, NH. She was born in Manchester on November 26, 1938 to the late Rudolph and Carolyn (Musial) Makara.

Barbara was educated through the Manchester school system and spent her career doing data entry for home insurance until retirement.
She enjoyed knitting, quilting, gardening, and trips to the beach. Barbara was an avid reader and devoted to her faith, a parishioner of Holy Trinity Cathedral. Above all, she cherished time spent with her family.

She leaves behind her devoted husband of 61 years, Paul Bourgeios; sons Timothy Bourgeois and his wife Melody of Weare, Thomas Bourgeois of Manchester, Joseph Bourgeois and his wife Claudine of Auburn; and Jeffrey Bourgeois of Manchester; daughters Jennifer Farrin and husband Richard of Sandersville, GA, and Amy Ireland of Concord; brother Rudy Makara and his wife Nancy of Hooksett; and sister Beverly Derome of Manchester; 11 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild;

SERVICES: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 12th at 11 am at Holy Trinity Cathedral located at 166 Pearl St. Manchester.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 166 S. River Rd. #210, Bedford, NH 03110.
