Barbara A. Geddis

Barbara A. (Pelak) Geddis, 65, of 3032 Bodwell Road, died May 20, 2006 at the Elliot Hospital. She was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA on October 14, 1940, the daughter of John and Jean (Biernik) Pelak and had been a Manchester resident for the past five years. Prior to that, she had lived in Windsor, NJ. She owned and operated Dollar Land in Londonderry with her husband before her retirement. Barbara always enjoyed helping others. Family members include her husband of 40 years, Frederick Geddis; three sons, Jason Geddis of Mansfield, MA, Christopher Geddis of Belmar, NJ and Justin Geddis of Northridge, CA; two grandchildren; a brother, John Pelak of Little Falls, NJ; two nephews, one nieces and several cousins. After cremation, a memorial gathering will take place at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street on Friday evening from 5 to 7 PM.
