Barbara Joan (Kelly) Giordano

Barbara Joan (Kelly) Giordano, affectionately known as “Nonny,” passed away at 87 years old, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. She raised 4 children in Cromwell, CT with her husband, Vincent Giordano, who passed away in 2009.

Nonny lived life full of joy. Her sauce on Sunday afternoon was (chef’s kiss). She was an avid reader and was great at Jeopardy. She enjoyed dancing with her husband, trips to the casino, and playing bingo and cards with her family and friends. Nonny earned local celebrity status when she was featured on WMUR after she was affectionately appointed the mascot of her grandson’s 8th grade boys’ basketball team. She was loved by many.

She was predeceased by her sisters, Jessica and Margaret, and she is survived by children, Elaine and Michael Chaski, Steven and Jackie Giordano, Kristi Giordano Webb, and Suzanne and Kevin Rankins, along with 11 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.
