Barbara A. Lord, 85, of Concord, NH died Sunday, January 15, 2023, following a period of declining health.

Barbara was born in Concord, NH October 3, 1937, to Vincent and Dorothy (Gallien) Heath. She was educated in Bow and spent the majority of her working years with Sprague Electric and Rumford Press in Concord.

Barbara was a wonderful mother who deeply enjoyed hosting her family though the holidays and countless get togethers, lovingly preparing delicious meals for all types of occasions. She was a kind, loving, compassionate person who was always giving of herself and caring for family and friends. In fact, Barbara served as a caregiver to many loved ones into her mid-80s. She was a devoted friend who easily developed new friendships and cherished old ones.

Barbara is survived by her daughters, Deborah Barlow of Bow and Cindy Merchant (Larry) of Boscawen; her son, Scott Lord (Kelli) of Ohio; 3 grandchildren, Dean Merchant, Ian Barnett, and Kendall Lord; her brother, Douglas Heath (Linda Lugg) of Warner, NH; and nieces, nephews, and many other extended family members. She was predeceased by two brothers, Robert Heath and Donald Heath, and her sister, Beverly Hazeltine.

There will be no services held at this time. A private graveside service will take place in the spring.
