BARBARA 'SMITTY' SMITH ROBERTS
EASTON, NH -- Barbara Smitty Smith Roberts, age 74, passed away suddenly on January 26th in Franconia, NH.
Barbara was born on Sept. 12, 1931 in Poughkeepsie, NY, a daughter of the late William M. and Margaret (Davis) Smith.
She was educated at Emma Willard School, Troy, NY, Pine Manor, Wellesley, MA and received a B.S. degree at Tufts University, Boston, MA. She had many interests including; tennis, golf, skiing, playing bridge, and was an avid and active member in the garden club, and the Epiphany Church of Lisbon, NH.
Barbara is survived by her husband, John B. Roberts of Easton, N.H; a daughter, Alyson D. Roberts and her husband, David C. Yopp, of Meredith, NH; a son, Christopher H. Roberts of Girdwood, Alaska, a daughter Lauren M. Roberts of Girdwood, Alaska; her grandsons, Christopher D. Yopp and Anthony B. Yopp of Meredith, NH; and a brother, William D. Smith of Waterville, Maine.
She was a kind, loving wife, mother and friend.
SERVICES -- A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2006, 12:00 noon at the Epiphany Church, School St., Lisbon, NH with Rev. Todd Hall officiating. Burial will be in Hamilton, MA.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Epiphany Church of Lisbon, School St., Lisbon, NH in Barbaras memory.
