Barbara C. Rosner, 81, of Brattleboro, VT passed away on Friday, January 30, 2015 at Pine Heights of Brattleboro. She was born in Worcester, MA on February 8, 1933, the daughter of the late Robert and Florence (Haskell) Hinsley.
Barbara was educated in the Worcester school system. She was employed for many years as a bookkeeper at BSA. She enjoyed spending her mornings at the gym. Barbara was a very social and friendly person who touched the lives of many people. She loved her family and adored spending time with her eight grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her husband, Henry G. Rosner Jr. in 2012; two brothers, Harry and Robert Hinsley; and a sister, Betty Coleman.
She is survived by three sons, Henry Rosner and his wife Lorrie of San Dimas, CA, Michael Rosner and his wife Judith of Vernon, VT, and Richard Rosner and his wife Kimberly of Belchertown, MA; seven granddaughters, Erin Rosner, Jacquelyn Pudelwitts, Melanie Zinn, Jamie Perez, Laura Greve, Jennifer Rosner, and Kayla Rosner; one grandson, Daniel Rosner; as well as several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Services will be held in the spring. The KER-WESTERLUND FUNERAL HOME, 57 High St, Brattleboro is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association, Vermont Chapter, 300 Cornerstone Drive, Williston, VT 05495.
