Barbara passed away on January 29, 2024 at Maple Leaf Healthcare Center in Manchester, NH. She was born July 29, 1926 in Manchester NH, the daughter of John R. and Grace I. (Foster) Tennant. She was a graduate of Manchester High School West class of 1943. She retired from Osram Sylvania in 1988. She volunteered at the Catholic Medical Center’s gift shop for 27 years.

Barbara was known for her sense of humor and feisty personality. She loved to read, walk and listen to jazz. Every year she would travel to California, her second home. She loved her family on both sides of the country, who brought her endless joy and love.

She is survived by her daughter Ellen Sibulkin Belanger, her beloved grandsons, Brian (Traci) Belanger, Derrick (Abby) Belanger, her great granddaughters Rhea and Phoebe Belanger, her niece Nancy Davidson and her nephew Frank Nault and their families, and her two stepchildren Linda (Rick) Pepin and David (Diane) Rousseau.

She was predeceased by her loving husband Gerard J. Rousseau, her parents, her sister and brother-in-law Janet Marjorie and Noel Nault, her son-in-law Dennis R. Belanger and a great nephew Matthew Nault.

Heartfelt thank you to the staff at Maple Leaf Healthcare Center for the respectful loving care they provided her. We will forever be grateful to them and to the staff at Evergreen where she previously resided.
