Barbara Warner, 81, passed away peacefully on November 25, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, compassion, and a life beautifully lived.
Born on October 7, 1943, Barbara's journey was one of service and joy. An Army veteran, she served her country with honor as a nurse during the Vietnam War, embodying the spirit of selflessness and care. Her commitment to healing extended far beyond her years in uniform—Barbara was the consummate nurse, always "on duty," ready to comfort and care for anyone in need.
Barbara had a deep love for life and its many wonders. She adored animals and held a special place in her heart for all creatures great and small. She was impeccably stylish, her elegance reflecting her vibrant personality. A true lover of words, Barbara's vast vocabulary and appreciation for language were a testament to her intellectual curiosity. She embraced world cultures with enthusiasm, finding joy in music, dancing, and the beauty of diversity.
Her hobbies were as varied and colorful as her life: shopping, reading, traveling, decorating, and collecting elephants, each piece a cherished reminder of her adventures. Barbara had a remarkable gift for making every house a home, creating warm and inviting spaces filled with love and laughter.
Barbara didn’t just build a life, she built a family, cultivating deep, meaningful connections that stood the test of time. She leaves behind a devoted and loving family: her eldest daughter, Danielle Finigan, and her husband, David; their children, Keith Baldwin and his wife, Megan, Amanda Sutton and her husband, Derrick, Michael Finigan and his wife, Amanda, and Linda Tully and her husband, David III. Her daughter Krysta Warner-Iverson and her sons, Jeremy Iverson and Ryan Iverson. Her daughter Andria Lindsey and her children, CheVonne Lindsey, Hallie Boree and her husband, Mark, and Drew Lindsey.
Barbara’s joy multiplied with her great-grandchildren: Aaliyah Jutras-Baldwin, Lydia Elsen, Lennox Godshall, Killian Baldwin, Lucy Baldwin, Ryan Fasig, Brayden Sutton, Landyn Sutton, Maddie Mae Sutton, Colt Tully, Waylin Tully, Sadie Tully, and Zoe Lindsey. She is also survived by her beloved sister, Rosemari Warner, her brother, John Hanks, and her niece, Jenifer, and nephews, Christopher and Daniel, along with their families.
Barbara’s light will continue to shine in the hearts of those she loved and those who loved her. She leaves behind a world brighter and better for her presence.
A graveside service will be held at the NH State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, NH, on December 4, 2024, at 12:00 PM.
