Barbara J. Williams

Barbara J. (Shaw) Williams, 65, formerly of 234 West Hancock Street, died January 19, 2001 at Hillsborough County Nursing Home. She was born in Springfield, MA on April 20, 1935, the daughter of Eugene and Josephine Shaw and had been a Manchester resident for most of her life. She was a member of the Seventh-Day Adventists Church in Bedford. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend to many. Family members include a son, Rodman C. Lewis, Jr. of Manchester; a daughter, Joan Lewis of Manchester; three grandchildren; a brother, Richard Shaw of CT; three sisters, Elsie Garrison of FL, Carol Siter of CT and Shirley Smith of ND; and many nephews, nieces and cousins. There are no scheduled services. After cremation, her cremated remains will be scattered in the mountains later this Spring. Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium is in charge of arrangements.
