Barbara J. Yeaton, 68, of Concord, NH died Saturday May 17, 2008 at Concord Hospital.
She was born in Franklin, NH on December 24, 1939; daughter to Bernard J. and Esther M. (Sanborn) Yeaton. She grew up on a farm with her parents and enjoyed flowers and gardening.
During her life she received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of New Hampshire and worked as a secretary for the Department of Agriculture in Concord. She also worked for Cambian Corporation in Pittsfield in their shipping and receiving department.
She was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church in Loudon, NH and in her spare time enjoyed knitting, drawing, and going to the Weathervane Restaurant with family and friends.
Barbara is survived by her son Ted Yeaton and his wife Sharon of Groton, NH; her brother Bruce Yeaton of Loudon, NH; two grandchildren Jessica and Jacob Yeaton and two nephews Caleb and Jared Yeaton.
A graveside committal service will be held on Friday May 23, 2008, 3pm at the Loudon Center Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made in honor of Barbara to American Diabetes Association 249 Canal St. Manchester, NH 03101.
