Beatrice E. Bourbeau

Beatrice E. (Poirier) Bourbeau, 83, of Manchester, died December 11, 2004 at the Laurel Center in Bedford. She was born in Abbotts Corner, PQ, Canada on November 25, 1921, the daughter of Harley and Ada (Benjamin) Poirier and had been a Manchester area resident for most of her life. She was an accomplished artist and enjoyed working with ceramics. She also loved to knit, sew and make clothing. She was a wonderful cook and especially enjoyed baking. She had been a caregiver for many years and was a parishioner of St. Patrick Church. Family members include her husband of 56 years, Edward J. Bourbeau, two daughters, Sandra Vickers of CA and Anne Wilkie of Manchester; one grandson; three great grandchildren, one brother, Richard Poirier of VT; and several nephews, nieces and cousins. A private calling hour for the family will take place on Tuesday morning from 8:30 to 9:30 AM at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday morning at 10:00 in St. Patrick Church. After cremation, urn burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 360 Route 101, Unit 501, Bedford, NH 03110.
