BEDFORD – Beatrice M. (Pocchia) Buckner, 69, died on Monday, December 5, 2011, at the Ridgewood Center, in Bedford, NH.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, on December 10, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Philomena (Maiello) Pocchia.
At the time of her employment, Mrs. Buckner worked in Data Entry for Stabile Construction.
Mrs. Buckner was an avid gardener, enjoyed doing all types of crafts, painting and camping at Pine Acres Campground.
Family members include; her son, Timothy K. Buckner, and his wife Kathy, of Morrison, CO; her daughter Liza A. DeChiara, of Enfield, CT; five grandchildren, Joseph, Nina, Nicholas DeMauro, Ethan and Ellie Buckner, one brother, Anthony Pocchia, of NY; two sisters, Grace Simone and Ann Basuino, of Long Island, NY, several nieces and nephews. She also leaves her many dear friends at Pine Acres Campground. Mrs. Buckner was predeceased by her husband, Steven D. Buckner.
SERVICES: A calling hour will be held on Saturday, December 10, from 2:00 - 3:00 PM at the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover Street, corner of Union Street, in Manchester. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 3:00 PM
