Becki Ann Mignogna, 56, of Manchester died January 17, 2013 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack after a brief yet courageous battle with cancer.
She was born on March 30, 1956 in Freeport, NY the daughter of John Williams of Stafford Springs, CT and the late Barbara (Hill) Williams.
At a time when many mothers were forced to choose between a career or motherhood, Becki believed that raising her two boys at home was a very important goal that she was proud to achieve. Most recently Becki enjoyed working with various local charities through her affiliation with Community Bingo Center in Manchester, NH.
She loved playing bingo and going to Foxwoods. Becki enjoyed traveling often, especially to Bermuda, Hawaii and to the seacoast. She also liked sewing, knitting and an iced coffee (or two) from Dunkin' Donuts.
Surviving family members include her husband of 35 years, Scott Mignogna of Manchester; 2 sons, Robert Mignogna and his wife Michelle of Methuen, MA and Michael Mignogna and his girlfriend Michele of San Diego, CA; her father John Williams and his partner Rita Wood of Stafford Springs, CT; 3 sisters, Robin DeRossi of Londonderry, Sheri Crane of Derry and Beth Chapman of Pittsfield, MA; brother, Mark Williams of Goffstown, her best friend of several years Jan DiMarzio of Manchester, NH and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling Hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover St, Manchester on Tuesday from 4-8PM with a brief memorial service beginning at 7:30pm. A private committal service will be held for immediate family on Wednesday morning at Pine Grove Cemetery, Manchester.
