Bernadette Dupuis, 94, of Manchester died September 25, 2006 at Catholic Medical Center following a brief illness.
Mrs. Dupuis was born on May 10, 1912 in Sacre-Coeur-de-Marie, Canada, the daughter of Jean Baptiste and Delina (Fontaine) Poirier. Her life was devoted to her faith and family. A woman of great joy, her laughter could be heard wherever she was. Always having a positive attitude about life, she loved to cook and entertain family and friends. Her loving presence will be forever missed but always remembered. Mrs. Dupuis had been living with her son and his family until becoming a Villa Crest resident one year ago.
Family members include; one son, Gerard Dupuis and his wife, Carmelle of Manchester; one brother, Lucien Poirier of Belmont, NH; one sister, Florida Tucker of Clinton, MA; two grandchildren, Steven Dupuis and his wife, Michelle and Jennifer Dupuis; two great grandchildren, Jacques and Luke; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Roland Dupuis who died in 1982.SHe was also predeceased by two sisters, Beatrice Poirier and Lucienne Bourque.
Calling hours will be Thursday morning from 8:30 until 10:30 at Phaneuf Funeral Homes, 243 Hanover Street. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrate at 11:00 AM at St. Anthony Church with internment to follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
