Bernard J. Rafferty, 84, of 259 Chestnut street, Manchester, NH died April 15, 2004, at Catholic Medical Center. He was born in Manchester, NH on October 25, 1919, the son of Thomas and Mary (Conway) Rafferty and had been a resident of Manchester for most of his life. He was a W.W. II Army Veteran and a parishioner of St. Patrick Church. Prior to his retirement, Bernard worked for the City of Manchester, in repairing parking meters. He also worked over 40 years in the textile industry. Family members include two sons; Robert Rafferty of Denver, Colorado and Paul Rafferty of Rochester, a daughter, Mrs. Paul (Jo-Ann) Audet of Bow, NH, nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren, a brother, Joseph Rafferty of Fort Worth, Texas, several nieces and nephews. SERV ICES: Relatives and friends may call at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue, on Sunday from 4 to 7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday morning at 10 OClock in St. Patrick Church. Burial will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
