Deerfield, NH—Bernard Anthony Ravesi, 86, of Deerfield, NH passed away peacefully on Father's Day at Catholic Medical Center, after a period of declining health. He was born of October 27, 1927 in Brighton, MA and was the son of Bernard and Anna (Ventura) Ravesi.
Bernard was raised and educated in Malden, MA; he graduated from Malden High School in 1945 and went on to graduate from Suffolk University with a business degree Magna Cum Laude. He continued his life by honorable serving his country enlisting in the Navy during WWII in Panama.
Bernard was a hardworking man who excelled at his organizational skills, he loved the outdoors and gardening as well as cooking. His family was paramount to him and he always took good care of them. He leaves behind his children Carolyn Christilles of NH, Susan Ikeda (husband Jimmy) of CA, Allison Norton (husband Richie) of NM and Andrew Ravesi of CA, his grandchildren, Jason Crooks, Jessica Crooks, Tyra Ravesi, Eric Ravesi, Rachel Christilles, Harrison Christilles, and Alex Ravesi, his great grandchildren, Tatum Crooks, Brody Love and Zoe Crooks, his sisters Eleanor Ravesi of ME, Anna Ravesi of ME and Gloria Ravesi of ME, his brother in law, Richard Levell of ME, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, and very good friends.
As well as his parents, he was predeceased by his sister Marie Levell.
A service will be held Monday, June 23th at 10 am at Phaneuf Funeral Home 243 Hanover St Manchester, NH with a committal service immediately following at Forest Dale Cemetery 150 Forest St in Malden, MA .
