Bertha Boucher, 83, formerly of 91 West Street, Manchester, NH died March 16, 2001, at Kennestone Hospital, Marietta, Georgia after a long illness. She was born in Manchester on October 17, 1917, the daughter of Treffle and Anna (Corriveau) Champagne and resided most of her life in Manchester, moving to Georgia three years ago. Mrs. Boucher worked 20 years for the Phaneuf Funeral Homes and was the widow of Adelard Boucher who died in 1997. Family members include a son Normand Boucher, a daughter Mrs. Pauline Hale, both of Norcross, Georgia, two grandchildren, one great granddaughter, a brother Rudolphe ''Red'' Champagne of Manchester, a sister Laurette Fickette of Boscawen, NH, several nieces, nephews and cousins. SERVICES: Calling hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, on Tuesday evening from 5 to 7. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock in St. Augustin Church. Entombment will follow in Mount Calvary Mausoleum.
