Bessie Basia Frager

Bessie B. (Drecksler) (Punsky) Frager, 87, of Manchester, NH died February 20, 2010 at Ridgewood Center Nursing Home in Bedford, NH. She was born in Chelm, Poland on May 18, 1922, the daughter of Hyman and Rymka (Rice) Drecksler and had been a resident of Portland, ME for fifty years before moving to NH in 2008. She was the widow of Alfred I. Punsky who died in 1971. She was a former member of the Congregation of Shaarey Tphiloh in Portland. She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. In Her Life: Family members include her son, Howard Punsky and his wife Susan Allard of Manchester; four grandchildren, Alan Punsky, Andrea Rae Peters, Elizabeth Punsky and Alexander Punsky; and nephews, nieces and cousins. A private graveside service will take place at Mt. Sinai Memorial Park in Portland, ME. Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Manchester, is in charge of arrangements. Donations may be made in her memory to Congregation of Shaarey Tphiloh, 76 Noyes St., Portland, ME 04103.
