BETTY (BERTHA) G. BOURQUE
Goffstown, NHâBetty G. Bourque, 90, peacefully passed away on June 23, 2015 at Bel Air Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Romeo and Eugenie (Talbot) LaRochelle.
Betty was born and raised in Goffstown; she was a lifelong resident who loved painting, knitting, embroidering, sewing, and crocheting. Betty loved to laugh and will be remembered as being a fun person and having a great sense of humor. She was a devoted wife for 66 years and a great mom, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother who always loved having her home filled with music.
Betty leaves behind her children, Michael (wife Jo) Bourque of Fayetteville, NC, Pauline (husband William) Williams Dodge of Manchester, and Julie (husband Bill) Helie Haechton of Elloree, SC, 16 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren,1 great great grandchild, her brother, Robert (wife Carmelle) LaRochelle of Bedford, NH, her sisters, Theresa Bourque of Connecticut, Jacqueline Lessard of Chicoutimi, PQ, and Suzanne Audy of St. Petersburg, Fla., her sister in laws, Connie Bourque of Manchester, Cecile Juno of Manchester and Theresa Trembly of NH, plus many nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.
In addition to her parents, Betty was also predeceased by her husband Jean Paul Bourque, and her brothers, Renald LaRochelle and Roger LaRochelle.
The family would like to extend a special thanks, for the wonderful care that was given to Betty, to Bel Air Nursing Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family has respectfully requested all donations be sent to Bel Air Nursing Home Activity Funds 29 Centre St Goffstown, NH c/o Peggy Rollins.
Calling hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Home 250 Coolidge Ave, Manchester on Monday, June 29th from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Lawrence Church, 51 Main St, Goffstown on Tuesday at 10:00am.Committal prayers will follow in the mausoleum chapel at Mount Calvary Cemetery 474 Goffstown Rd Manchester.
