BEVERLY E. (PETTIS) BUTSON
LISBON, NH -- Beverly E. Pettis Butson, 84, passed peacefully June 27, 2017, at Littleton Regional Hospital.
She was born on May 22, 1933, in Thetford, Vermont a daughter of Clarence and Doris Pettis. She was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Forrest I. Butson, Jr., as well as her brother Ernest Pettis.
She is survived by her sister Shirley Pettis Grimes, Pike, New Hampshire; four children: Regina Boucher and husband James of North Haverhill, New Hampshire, Barbara Shores of Lisbon, New Hampshire, Donald Butson and wife Sandra of Lisbon, New Hampshire, Tammy LaBelle of Lisbon, New Hampshire; six grandchildren, Dawn Huntington, Tonya Hanehan, Daniel Butson, Forrest Boucher, Melvin Labelle III, and Jennah LaBelle; four great grandchildren; one great great grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.
Beverly spent her younger years in Thetford, Vermont. Her family later moved to Lyman, New Hampshire, where she attended a two-room school house. She was a graduate of Lisbon Regional High School and soon after married the love of her life, Forrest Butson, Jr. They settled and raised their family in Lisbon, New Hampshire, where they owned and operated Butson's Dairy, a home delivery milk business. Beverly held many side jobs, but her main passion was her family, including the children she fostered and babysat. She volunteered for many local causes. Her children also kept her busy carpooling, baking for their school events, and so much more. She was a proficient knitter, seamstress, and artful cake decorator. She was an avid walker and a member of a women's bowling league. Her last days were brightened by attending the Respitality day program at the New Life Assembly of God.
SERVICES â A Funeral Service will be held on July 7th at 11:00 a.m. at the Shared Ministry Church in Lisbon, New Hampshire with Rev. Lyn Winter officiating.
