BEVERLY A. ZIEMBA MANCHESTER - Beverly A. (Mendzela) Ziemba, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2009 surrounded by her family and close friends after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer. Bev was the daughter of the late William and Jennie (Szkutnik) Mendzela. She was raised and educated in Manchester and graduated from Central High School in 1957. Bev was the owner of BZ Realty where she worked for many years as a REALTOR® Broker. She also worked with her husband and son in the family business, Empire Sheet Metal Inc. of Manchester, serving as vice president. Family and friends were always the most important things in her life. Her children and grandchildren were always in her heart and on her mind. She devoted her life to caring for them, and always selflessly put their needs above her own. Truly her greatest pleasure in life was the times she spent with her grandchildren. Bev's endless energy, strength, talent, love of life and people, were an inspiration to us all. Her wonderful kindness and spirit will be greatly missed. Her family includes; her husband of 49 years, Stanley G. Ziemba Jr. of Manchester; a son, Gregg A. Ziemba, of Manchester; a daughter, Jennifer A. McLean and her husband Robert T. McLean of Gilford; two grandchildren, Jack Stanley McLean and Molly Elizabeth McLean of Gilford; and a sister, Phyllis D. Norris and her husband William J. Norris, of El Dorado Hills, CA. She also leaves many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by an infant daughter Donia M. Ziemba. There are no calling hours. A celebration of her life will be held in St. Pius X Church, 575 Candia Road, in Manchester on Monday, September, 21st at 10 a.m. Private burial will be held in St. Joseph Cemetery, in Bedford. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Sisters of the Precious Blood Monastery, 700 Bridge Street, Manchester, NH 03104 or to The American Cancer Society, 2 Commerce Drive, #110, Bedford, NH 03110.
