Bill Horan, 47, of Bedford, NH died suddenly on July 4, 2009 in Bedford. He was born on February 12, 1962 in Waterbury, CT to H. William and Carol (Neidman) Horan He had a bachelors degree in Human Resources from Colorado Christian University in Colorado Springs, CO. He served in the Air Force for 10 years as a firefighter for military and British retained. He was a proud member of Red Sox Nation, the Patriot Guard Riders as well as celebrity ski. Bill was a fanatic Red Sox, Celtics, Bruins and Patriots fan and openly wept when the Red Sox won the World Series in 2004. He loved WWII history, mostly aircraft, specifically the B-24 (liberator). He brought history to life with his enthusiasm. Bill rescued many dogs over the years. He and Donna traveled the world and some of his favorite places were Yorkshire Dales, Ireland and Colorado. He preferred traveling on his Harley and he claimed to have one of NH's best license plates, "BoSox1". He was very humble about his accomplishments and achievements. Bill is survived by his wife of 19 years, Donna of Bedford, NH; daughter, Brittany Meaux of Orange County, TX and his siblings, Maribeth Horan, Kevin Horan and Karen Woodhead all of Boise, ID. He was predeceased by Ryan and his father, Bill (Bop). His Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:00AM at St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 190 Meetinghouse Road, Bedford.
