Brenda R. (Ramsey) Martucci, 76, of Amherst, passed away on January 20, 2024, surrounded by loved ones.
She was born in Manchester, on January 3, 1948, the daughter of the late Stanley and Helen (Clark) Ramsey. She shared 46 years of marriage with her husband, Paul Martucci.
Brenda was a 1966 graduate of Manchester High School West. She furthered her education at the University of New Hampshire and graduated in 1970 with a bachelor's degree in education. She pursued her master’s degree at Boston University, graduating in 1972. Brenda began her professional career as an editor for multiple publication offices in Boston, MA. After starting a family and moving to Amherst, she continued her career at Clark Elementary school as an educator and guidance counselor. After years of devotion to Clark Elementary, she took the title of assistant principal for the remainder of her professional career before retiring.
Brenda enjoyed skiing, gardening, walking the beach, reading, loving animals and spending time with her loved ones. She will be remembered for her unconditional love, kindness, generosity, and warm-hearted spirit.
Brenda is survived by her spouse, Paul Martucci; her son Brad Martucci; her five grandchildren, Makayla, Alexis, Olivia, Brianah, and Aliyah; her sister and brother-in-law, Sandra and Bob Dinwoodie. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Greg Martucci in 2017.
A memorial gathering will take place on Thursday, February 1, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St., Manchester.
