Brian J. Cregg

Brian Jerome Cregg age 72 of Gilford, New Hampshire went to be with the Lord on June 9, 2016 in his home surrounded by family. Brian was born in Chelsea, Massachusetts at the Chelsea Naval Hospital, on September 30, 1943 to James and Mary Cregg of Hingham, Massachusetts and attended Archbishop Williams High School in Braintree, Massachusetts.

Brian worked as a truck driver for Mutual Oil in Brockton, Massachusetts for many years and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Brian was a proud retired member of the United States Marine Corps. Brian is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Cregg and their five children: Robert Cregg and his wife Deborah of New Hampshire, Mandi Bratt of Utah, Kathy Brown and her husband Shane of Utah, Brian Cregg of Utah, and James R. Cregg and his wife Erika of Massachusetts. Brian is also survived by his two siblings: sister, Maureen Singletary of Florida and brother, James Cregg Jr. of Massachusetts, and by his fourteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Brian is predeceased by his mother Mary Cregg, his father James A. Cregg, and his great grandson Izayah.

Brian will be laid to rest at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 100 Daniel Webster Highway in Boscawen, New Hampshire. A small service will be held at the Veteran's Cemetery on Wednesday, June 15th at 3:00pm.
