BRIAN E. HORNER
LITTLETON, NH ---- Brian E. Horner, 57, passed away on Friday, November 2, 2007 at the Littleton Regional Hospital.
Brian was born on May 12, 1950 in Littleton, a son of Kenneth and Lois (Blodgett) Horner of Lincoln and Littleton respectfully. Brian graduated from Littleton High School and went on to Manchester Technical Institute where he earned an associate degree in HVAC.
Brian was a lifetime resident of the North Country and resided in Littleton the majority of his life. He was employed at the Littleton Stamp and Coin Company where he served as the head of the maintenance Department for 27 years.
He was an avid stock-car racing fan and also enjoyed spending warm afternoons riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. Cooking was another passion of his, and his family enjoyed many a Thanksgiving dinners due to his prowess. Perhaps his greatest trait was that Brian loved to talk to people. He loved to meet new people, tell jokes to old friends, and share stories with anyone who would listen. Because of this, Brian had many friends and acquaintances in the area, both young and old.
Brian was active in the community of Littleton where he served as a little league baseball coach and member of the SAU 35 school board.
Survivors include Joan Horner of Littleton, NH to whom he was married for 18 years; his stepson, Michael Gorsuch; his son, Casey Horner; his daughter, Christy Horner; his sister, Gayle Clement of Landaff, NH and his brother, Herbert Horner of Lisbon, NH.
SERVICES: The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 6, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the Pillsbury Funeral Home, located at 101 Union Street in Littleton. A Celebration of his Life will be held on Wednesday, November 7th at the All Saints Episcopal Church at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Noёl Bailey as celebrant. Private graveside services will be held in the Glenwood Cemetery.
