IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Brian R.
Pineault
October 3, 1965 – March 10, 2026
Brian R. Pineault, 60, of Gilford, New Hampshire, passed away on March 10, 2026, in Concord, New Hampshire.
Brian was born on October 5, 1965, in Manchester, New Hampshire. A proud New Hampshire native, he was a simple man who enjoyed life’s simple pleasures; good food, a good drink, New England sports, cruising with the top down in his beloved Ford Mustang, late night karaoke, and his annual boys’ camping trip. His sense of humor could light up any room, leaving a lasting impression on everyone around him.
Brian proudly served in the New Hampshire Army National Guard for 11 years, achieving the rank of Sergeant (E-5) as a Cannon Fire Direction Specialist. He served during the Persian Gulf War period, and his dedication was recognized with two Army Achievement Medals, the Army Service Ribbon, and the New Hampshire National Guard Service Bar.
Brian devoted 38 years to Summit Packaging Systems in Manchester, NH, earning a reputation for loyalty and an exceptional work ethic. He took great pride in building the Quality Team from the ground up, always emphasizing that the team’s dedication and collaboration were the driving force behind the company’s success.
Above all, Brian’s greatest pride and joy were his children. He was their steady guide through childhood; coaching, cheering from the sidelines, helping with dreaded math homework, building the best sledding paths in the winter and sandcastles in the summer, and often being appointed as the go-to field trip chaperone. Through his example, he taught them that building a life you’re proud of takes hard work, but that life is also about having fun and creating lasting memories along the way. His love for fatherhood only grew when he became a proud Pépère, a title he wore wholeheartedly.
Brian is survived by his children: Sarah Russell and her husband, Corey Russell; Hannah Pineault and her fiancé, Myles Jadis; Emily Pineault; and William Pineault and his wife, Rayven Pineault, as well as his bonus sons, Mitchell Carr and Seth Hallett. He was a proud Pépère to Jameson Russell, Brody Russell, and Charlotte Russell. He is also survived by his siblings: Christine Durant; Dennis Pineault and his wife, Denise Pineault; Kenneth Pineault and his wife, Gail Pineault; and Peter Pineault and his wife, Suzanne Pineault, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Brian is also survived by his fiance, Theresa Lemay, whose long time friendship brought companionship filled with love, warmth, and laughter in his later years.
Brian valued lifelong friendships and shared many memories with his closest friends Cliff Peck and Jimbo Bobo, as well as the friends who became like family over the years at Cascade Campground. These relationships brought him countless good times and stories that will be cherished by all who shared them.
Brian’s legacy lives on in the memories shared by those who loved him; memories of laughter, friendship, and the simple moments that mattered most, often ending with a karaoke song sung a little louder than it needed to be.
A military service and burial will be held at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, New Hampshire at a later date this spring.
The family encourages those who knew Brian to honor his memory by sharing a laugh, enjoying a good meal with loved ones, or singing their favorite karaoke song in his honor.
Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Boscawen office, is assisting the family with arrangements. To view an online memorial, leave a message of condolence, or for more information please visit www.phaneuf.net.
