Our hearts know in deep silence The best kept dreams they behold Of a distant place and time Where we are sheltered from the cold It is during these moments in silence When our dreams dare to take flight We remember your love, smile and grace In our lives you have made so bright. In memory of our son, brother, uncle, nephew and friend Brian Keith Stanley 07/16/60 ~ 09/17/06 Brian Keith K. Stanley, 46, of Florida, passed away Sunday, September 17, 2006 after a courageous battle with cancer in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. He was born in Exeter, NH, on July 16, 1960 and was the son of Irene G. and the late George H. Stanley. He was a 1986 graduate of Concord School of Nursing and a 1994 graduate of Rivier College. He was a nurse at CMC for many years. Brian relocated to the Ft. Lauderdale area several years ago, where he practiced nursing at Holy Cross Hospital. Brian embraced life to the fullest. He enjoyed people, was full of laughter and fun, made the best chocolate chip cookies, and was passionate about the sun and beaches. When faced with challenges or obstacles, his practical sense of style was the trademark that earned him the role of caregiver, mediator, and confidant. These were the characteristics he so bravely displayed throughout his fight with cancer, even during the most difficult times. He considered others before himself and gave of himself selflessly, insisting on keeping things simple and refusing to let others share his burden. He is survived by his partner of 25 years, Roland Descoteaux, of Wilton Manors, FL; his mother Irene Stanley, sister Roberta Stanley, brother Greg Stanley and his wife Kerri, all of Londonderry; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial is being held at Jennings Funeral Home in Ft. Lauderdale on September 21, 2006. Donations can be made in Brians name to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 E. 33rd St., New York, NY 10016; American Cancer Society, P.O.
