Bruce A. Biscornet, 72, of Bedford, NH and Naples, FL, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at the High Pointe Hospice House, in Haverhill, MA, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in New Boston, he was raised by his mother, the late Zelda Corliss. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corps. Bruce's industrious spirit was apparent from an early age and he worked hard to make a better life for himself and his family. Well-known in the community as a multi-facetted entrepreneur, Bruce owned and operated a variety of businesses throughout the past 50 years; most notably, Squire Construction of Manchester, and Global Realty of Bedford. An avid pilot for over 40 years, Bruce flew and owned airplanes and helicopters. Flying helicopters was one of his greatest passions, and he loved to share the thrill of flight with friends and family.
A dedicated father, "pap", companion, and friend, Bruce's family was paramount in his life. He was devoted to his beloved companion Sandy, and enjoyed the many years they spent together. He adored his two grandsons, and loved watching them play and grow over the past few years. During their youth, Bruce and his sons created lasting memories while boating at Lake Winnipesaukee. He shared his love of building and craftsmanship with his son Marc and enjoyed outside sports like fishing and archery with Brad.
True snowbirds, Bruce and Sandy cherished many winters with their dear friends in Naples, FL. While in Florida, they learned to shoot sporting clays and quickly fell in love the sport. They enjoyed developing their skill and often played several times a week.
A talented perfectionist, Bruce took great pride in his professional work as well as his hobbies. During retirement, Bruce meticulously restored a 1931 Model A Ford pick up which won numerous awards at car shows. Bruce will be best remembered for his generous heart and dedication to his family.
Bruce is survived by his beloved companion of over 20 years, Sandy Crowell; two sons, Brad Biscornet and wife Mandra of Tyngsborough, and Marc Biscornet and wife Michelle of Charleston, SC; two grandsons, Darby and Odin; brother, Leon Biscornet and wife Brenda of NH; nephew, Mike Biscornet and wife Kerry; and niece, Amanda Savo and husband David, along with extended family and friends.
