BRUCE W. GAMBLE
BETHLEHEM, NH - Bruce W. Gamble passed away on Thursday, March 5th. He was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts on October 17, 1948 to Charles H. and Barbara A. Gamble. After spending most of his youth in Massachusetts, Bruce and his family moved to the North Country.
He was well-known in the area as he worked for many years in the hospitality industry, most recently at the Mount Washington Hotel.
Bruce loved the naturalness of the White Mountain Region and took advantage of it while golfing, canoeing and taking his power boat out on Moore Dam. He was a great sports fan, particularly of hockey which he played in his youth.
Bruce was a kind, generous, handsome and funny soul who wouldn't hurt another living thing. That soul will shine on.
He leaves behind his beloved wife Barbara; sister, Marilyn Weston; brother-in-law, Charles Weston; niece and nephew, Tamson and Matthew Weston and uncle, Jerry Miller.
Bruce was pre-deceased by his parents, his daughter and "Princess" Heather Gamble and his dogs, Sandy and Schneidel, and cat Teake.
SERVICES -- A graveside service will be held at the Glenwood Cemetery, at 11:00 a.m. on May 15th 2015. A celebration of life will be held in June at a date to be determined.
