BRUCE K. ROGERS
LITTLETON, NH --- Bruce Kendall Rogers, 76, of Maple Street, passed away on Sunday, July 22nd at the Littleton Regional Hospital after a short illness.
Bruce was born on June 8, 1931, a son to Hiram A. and Helen L (Reid) Rogers, in Lisbon, NH. He attended area schools.
Bruce was a U. S. Army Veteran having served in the Korean War. He worked for the State of New Hampshire for a short time, after which he owned and operated a rubbish removal business in Littleton until his retirement. He was a member of the American Legion since his Honorable Discharge from the Army in 1952. He was a long time member of the Eagles and Elks Clubs in Littleton. Bruce was an avid reader of history and collected many things.
Bruce is survived by his wife of more than 51 years, Phyllis Rogers of Littleton, NH; two sons, Clark Rogers and Kendall Rogers, both of Littleton, NH; one daughter, Kathryn Rogers of Manchester, NH; four grandchildren, Tanya, Katelyn, James and Nicholas; and one brother, Ted of Stockton, CA. His brother, Donald, predeceased him.
SERVICES Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, July 25th from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the Pillsbury Funeral Home, located at 101 Union Street. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, July 26th at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Noёl Bailey, of All Saints Episcopal Church, officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to a charity of ones choice.
