C. I. Gilbert

C. I. (Colette) Gilbert, 73, of Manchester, passed away on December 15, 2017.

She was born in Manchester on April 18, 1944, the daughter of Richard and Angela (Renaud) Descoteaux. She was a graduate of St. George High School where she was also on the graduation committee. She had worked as an operator for New England Telephone for many years until her retirement. She was a past parishioner and choir member of St. Catherine Church. She loved going to the beach and spending time outdoors. She ws predeceased by a sister, Jeanne Gilbert of OH.

Family members include a brother-in-law, Dr. Eugene Gilbert of OH; a niece, Michelle Shively of OH; a nephew, Dr. Richard Gilbert of PA; three cousins, Pauline Fredette, Monique Gagnon, and Jane Provost; and grand nephews, grandnieces, and second cousins. She also leaves very dear friends, Simonne Lane of Manchester and the Barrett family of Bow.

A memorial gathering will take place at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Ave on Friday March 9th from 10 to 11 AM with a memorial service in the funeral home chapel at 11:00.
