Carl Earl Rackliff Jr., 74, of Manchester, NH, passed away on Monday, June 6th, 2022.
He was born on June 16th, 1947, in Farmington, ME, the son of the late Carl Rackliff Sr. and Marilyn (Collins) Rackliff. Carl attended Alvirne High School in Hudson, NH before joining the U.S Army in 1968, where he fought in the Vietnam War.
He was the husband of Joanne (Little) Rackliff, whom he shared 52 beautiful years of marriage with.
Carl enjoyed anything that meant he would be outdoors, enjoying life. He spent his time hunting, fishing, camping, teaching his grandchildren how to hunt and fish, and lastly, spending time at the cabin with family in West Stewartstown, NH.
Carl is predeceased by his parents Carl Sr. & Marilyn (Collins) Rackliff; his 2 brothers Brian, and Terry; his 2 sister’s Carol, and Judy.
He is survived by his wife Joanne (Little) Rackliff; his sons Carl “Buster” Rackliff III and his wife Bobbi Jo, Justin Rackliff, Everett Rackliff and his wife Audrey, Jesse Rackliff and his wife Katie, Larry Rackliff and his wife Meredith; his daughter Nedra (Rackliff) Sylvester and her husband Bill; his 22 grandchildren; and his 11 great-grandchildren. Carl is also survived by several nieces, nephews and close friends and family.
SERVICES: Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 12th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Phaneuf Funeral Homes, 243 Hanover St., Manchester, NH. Burial will be on Monday, June 13th, 2022, at 1:30 PM at the NH State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH, family, and friends are welcome to attend.
