Carl J. Rasnic Jr.

Carl Rasnic Jr., age 76, passed away peacefully on November 23, 2023, after a period of declining health.

Carl was born on September 4,1947, to Mary (Osborne) and Carl Rasnic in Beltsville, MD. Carl is survived by the love of his life, Margene (Schmitt) Rasnic. Together they shared 53 years of marriage and created a beautiful family. Carl was the much loved father of Kristin Cohen and her husband Kevin of Pembroke, NH, and Holly Morrow and her husband John of Derry, NH. Carl was the best Pop-Pop to his grandchildren Lucas, James, Nicholas, Alexis, Elle, Quinn and Grace. Carl is also remembered by extended family members and friends with love.

One of Carl’s most proud accomplishments was serving in the United States Marine Corps. He was honorably discharged with the rank of Sergeant as a Combat Engineer and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. Carl worked incredibly hard throughout his life to provide a wonderful life for his family. Carl had a love for the great outdoors and traveling with his family.

Calling hours will be held Sunday, December 3rd at Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 172 King Street, Boscawen, New Hampshire from 5:00-7:00 pm. Catholic prayer and eulogy will be shared at 6:30 pm. A private burial will be held at the NH State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, NH.
