Carleton Barnard Perry Jr., 77, passed away on August 15, 2005 at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester after a short illness. He was born August 31, 1927, in Keene, NH, to Carleton Barnard and Mary Elizabeth (Cullen) Perry Sr. He was educated in Manchester schools and graduated from Manchester West High School in 1945. He was employed by the Puritan Restaurant on Elm Street, Manchester Police Department as an auxiliary police officer, and the Manchester Fire Department where he retired after 20 years of service. He also served in the U. S. Navy and Naval Reserve. Mr. Perry was selected to served on the Manchester School Board in 1958. He was a Manchester Little League coach in the 1950s and officiated football games in New Hampshire. He attended St. Raphaels church where he was a eucharistic minister prior to becoming a parishioner of St. Patricks Church. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Constance (OKeefe) Perry; children, Stephen and Dorothy Perry of Pembroke, NH, Leon and Brenda (Perry) Biscornet of Florida, Dennis and Theresa Perry of Port St. Lucie, Florida, Bertrand and Nancy (Perry) Blais of Lebanon, NH, Carlene Perry of Manchester, Thomas Perry of Pembroke, NH; 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; a brother, Richard Perry of Connecticut; sister Linda (Perry) Vachon of Manchester; and many nieces and nephews. There will be a Memorial Gathering on Thursday, August 18th from 6:00 to 9:00 pm at Phaneuf Funeral Home, 250 Coolidge Avenue in Manchester with a Memorial Mass on Friday at 10:00 AM at Saint Patricks Church In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Manchester Firemans Relief Association, 100 Merrimack Street, Manchester, NH 03101.
