Carmelle A. LaRochelle

Carmelle A. (Duhaime) LaRochelle, 90, formerly of Manchester, passed away at Bel Air Nursing Home in Goffstown on March 23, 2022.

She was born in Hooksett on April 5, 1931, the daughter of the late Rudolphe and Alice (Thibodeau) Duhaime. Earlier in her career, she worked for NH Insurance. For most of her career, she worked with her husband operating at King Bowling Lanes, a Pinardville Landmark.  She was an avid reader and enjoyed spending her free time with her family. She was a parishioner of St. Raphael Church.

Family members include her husband of 67 years, Robert LaRochelle, Sr.; her daughter, Diane Austin and her husband Jeff of Manchester; two sons, Robert LaRochelle, Jr. and his wife Pamela of Bedford, and Daniel LaRochelle and his wife Kelly of Manchester; six grandchildren, Amy Champagne, Kimberly Keefe, Jeremy Austin, Lauren Lambert, Matthew LaRochelle, and Alex LaRochelle; nine great grandchildren; a sister, Lillian Ouellette of Manchester; and many nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Ave., Manchester on Sunday, March 27^th from 4 to 7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday morning, March 28^th at 10:00 AM in St. Raphael Church. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations may be made in her memory to St. Raphael Church, 103 Walker St., Manchester, NH 03102.
