Carmen M. Perez

Carmen M. "Lucy" Perez, 52, of Manchester, died at the Elliot Hospital on September 23, 2008. She was born in Brooklyn, NY on May 8, 1956 and had been a Manchester resident for over 25 years. She had previously worked as a nurse's aid at the Elliot Hospital. Family members include three sons, Julio Maldonado, Miguel Maldonado and Luis Maldonado, all of Manchester; two daughters, Maria Camacho and Mercedes Wyman, both of Manchester; her mother, Marie (Tirado) Serrano of Manchester; her long-time companion, Miguel Perez of Manchester; 14 grandchildren; five brothers, Angel Serrano, Bobby Serrano, Manny Serrano, Luis Plaza and Miguel Plaza, all of Manchester; and many nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts and cousins. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street on Sunday from 1 to 4 and 6 to 9 PM. Committal services will following on Monday at 1:30 in Pine Grove Cemetery.
