Carmen D. Sanchez

Carmen D. (Naranjo) Sanchez, 71, of Manchester, passed away at her residence with her family by her side on June 19, 2018.

She was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador on May 15,1947, the daughter of Miguel and Fidela (Marina Veliz Echerrez) Naranjo. She worked in the Blocking Dept. of Velcro USA for over 28 years until her retirement. Carmen enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and her pets. She also enjoyed traveling to see family in Ecuador as well as traveling to the casinos in Maine and Connecticut.

She was predeceased by her parent and sisters. She was survived by her husband of over 48 years, Hector Sanchez; two daughters, Carmenza Sanchez and Carla Pellegrini and husband Anthony Pellegrini all of Manchester; four grandchildren and four brothers and several nephews, nieces and cousins.

A memorial gathering will take place at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St., Manchester on Saturday, July 7th from 9 to 11 AM with a service of remembrance to follow in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 AM.
