Carol A. Cooley

Carol A. (Lapointe) Cooley, 71, of Manchester, passed away on July 1, 2009 at Catholic Medical Center with her loving family by her side. She was born in Manchester on September 6, 1937, the daughter of the late Anthony and Clara (Meisel) Lapointe and had been a lifelong resident of the city. She had retired from Kalwall Company after fiften years of service. Prior to that, she has worked many years at the Alibi Restaurant. She was predeceased by her husband, Bernard J. Cooley who died in 1995. She had many interests and hobbies and loved spending time with her family and many friends. Family members include three sons, Michael Cooley and his wife Lisa of Wilton, James Cooley of Manchester, and Kenneth Cooley and his wife Kerrie of Goffstown; a daughter, Cynthia Vera and her husband Anthony of Manchester; eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren; a brother, Francis Lapointe of FL and several nephews, nieces and cousins. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St. on Monday from 3:30 to 7:30 PM. A memorial service will take place on Tuesday morning at 10:00 in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in St. Hedwig Cemetery.
