Carol L. DeAngelis, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at home on November 23, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on June 21, 1946, in Lynn, Massachusetts, Carol touched the lives of everyone she encountered with her warmth and kindness.

Growing up in Lynn, Carol attended Lynn English High School, where she began to cultivate her lifelong passion for learning and engaging with others. Her career began at Nixdorf Computer in North Reading, where she dedicated 14 years before transitioning to Ayer Sales in Woburn, MA, from which she retired. Her work ethic and dedication were admired by many, but it is her role as a nurturing matriarch that truly defined her legacy.

Carol's greatest pride came from her family, which she cherished above all else. She was the greatest mom, gooma, and GG that a family could ever have. Married to her husband, Robert D. DeAngelis, for an incredible 59 years. Together, they nurtured a beautiful family that radiates the same love and compassion that Carol so effortlessly shared with the world.

Her legacy continues through her daughter, Lisa Marcotte and her spouse Robert Marcotte of Litchfield, NH, and her son, Robert R. DeAngelis and friend Laura (Story) DeAngelis of Manchester, NH. Carol was blessed with grandchildren who brought her immense joy: Dominic, Gina, Amanda, Olivia, and Alyssa, along with great-grandchildren Damien, Dante, Wyatt Angelo, Angela, and Gabriel Jr. Each family member will carry the warmth of her love as a constant reminder of the beautiful family she created.

Beyond her family, Carol had a vibrant spirit that embraced life’s simple pleasures. She found joy in reading, shopping, and caring for her adored rose bushes. Her weekends were spent riding on their Harley motorcycle, attending Pow Wows, county fairs, rock concerts, and cheering on her favorite baseball teams. Carol lived life fully, embracing every moment and sharing her vibrant energy with those around her.

Though Carol has been reunited with her parents, Edna and Virgil Calkins, her Aunt Florence Starrett, Uncle Ellsworth Starrett, and her cousin Beverly and her husband Victor Anderson, her love and compassion will continue to burn like a fire in the hearts of her cherished family.

As we reflect on Carol L. DeAngelis's life, we remember her as a beacon of kindness and love, whose spirit will continue to shine brightly in the memories of her family and friends. Her passion for life, strength in love, and the warmth she exuded will resonate through generations, forever echoing the values she instilled in all who knew her.

Services will be held privately by the family. In honor of Carol's memory, friends and family are invited to make a donation to the MSPCA to provide care for sick, injured, and homeless animals.
