Carol A. Czarnecki Glidden, 50, of 161 Mason Street, died November 26, 2000 at Hillsborough County Nursing Home. She was born in Manchester on December 31, 1949, the daughter of Joseph T. and Julie (Freitas) Czarnecki and had been a lifelong resident of the City. She was a graduate of West High School, Class of 1968 and attended Notre Dame College. She had worked for Forest Hills Department Store and RCL Electronics. She was a parishioner of St. Patrick Church. She enjoyed playing guitar and piano. She also was a tap, ballet and pointe dancer. Family members include her father of Manchester; a son, Geoff Glidden of Manchester; a daughter, Lisa Glidden of Manchester; one grandchild, Krystie Glidden of Manchester; a brother, Joseph J. Czarnecki of Manchester; a sister, Sandi McGorry of Goffstown; and several nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue on Wednesday from 6 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday morning at 11:30 in St. Patrick Church. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
