Carol Oljey

Carol Anne (Dalton) Oljey, 78, of Goffstown, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 25, 2019, in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Boston, MA, she is the daughter of the late Robert and Julia (Cook) Dalton. Carol dedicated her life to being a homemaker; raising her seven beautiful children and tending to her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A beloved wife, mother, memere, and friend, Carol's family was paramount in her life. She cherished time spent with family and taught them the true meaning of unconditional love. Known as an exceptional cook, Carol showered her family with delicious meals, especially her homemade meatballs and traditional Thanksgiving Dinner. For the past 21 years, Carol happily made her home in Goffstown with her daughter, Heather, and family. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, watching hummingbirds, and cheering for the Boston Red Sox. Carol will be best remembered for her generous heart, sassy sense of humor, and love of family.

Carol is survived by her seven children; Heather (Courtois) Verney and husband David of Goffstown, Rhonda (Fearon) Piper and husband William of Dracut, MA, Vance Fearon of Lowell, MA, Stacie (Courtois) Rollston and husband Chris of Pembroke, Julia (Fearon) Keil and husband Oliver of Kailua Kona, HI, George Fearon of FL, and Leo Francis Fearon, II of TX; sister, Jeannie Smith; three brothers, Robert, William, and Paul Dalton; 21 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends. In addition to her parents, Carol was predeceased by her husband, Henry "Hank" Oljey; brother, Wayne Dalton; and two infant children, Laura Fearon and Robert Courtois.

ARRANGEMENTS: Carol's Visitation will be held in the Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St., Manchester, on Saturday, September 28 from 3:00P.M. to 7:00P.M.
