She graduated from Seton Hill College in Greensburg, PA in 1962. Then, moved to Washington DC where she met her beloved husband, Daniel. After marrying in 1965, the two began their life in Manchester, NH where Carol spent a short time teaching at Hesser College before spending most of her career working as a programmer / system analyst for the State of NH.
Carol was an active parishioner of St. Francis Parish of Litchfield where she served in many roles such as Religious Education teacher, Eucharistic Minister, Greeter and Fun in the Sun counselor. She was always eager to go on traveling adventures or to attend the theater but was just as happy to enjoy a simple meal out or to stay at home to watch sports, read romance novels, or play free cell.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings, Helen Ferrell of California, MD, Mary Lou Simpson of Lakewood, CO, and S. James Wilker of Denver, PA.
She is survived by Daniel, her husband of 56 years, her sister Kathleen Wilker of NJ, children, Denise Sullivan of Manchester and Debra Dunham and her husband Arthur of Quincy, MA and her grandson Martin Dunham.
