Carole M. Funt, 78, of Manchester, NH passed away on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Courville at Manchester, in Manchester, NH.
Mrs. Funt was born on December 22, 1942, in Peabody, MA, the daughter of the late Eugene and Evelyn (Searles) St. Germain and predeceased by her husband John M. Funt of Nashua, NH.
She enjoyed many hobbies in her early years like ice skating, water skiing, gardening, swimming, and more recently enjoying visits from her family. Carole was a long-time parishioner of Immaculate Conception Parish of Nashua, NH and most recently attended Mass at St. Catherine of Sienna Parish of Manchester, NH.
Members of her family include; a daughter, Kristin Demers, of Nashua, NH; two sons, Ronald Cordova, Jr. and his wife Lori, of Merrimack, NH; Kevin Cordova and his wife Jackie, of Las Vegas, NV; and her seven grandchildren, Nathaniel Cordova and his wife Andrea of Nashua, NH, Aaron Cordova and his wife Jessica of Merrimack, NH, Sara Cordova of Merrimack, NH; Joelle, Grace, Isabella and Emily Cordova of Las Vegas, NV and a great-grandson Grayson Cordova of Merrimack, NH. Her sisters, Elaine Moore and her husband Robert of Danvers, MA, Helen St. Germain of Lyles, TN, and a brother Gene St. Germain of Lowell, MA; a dear friend Phyllis Etsel of Burlington, MA and many nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: Calling hours will be on Monday, December 6, 2021 from 5 – 8 PM at Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, in Manchester. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, 11:30 AM at St. Catherine of Sienna Parish, 207 Hemlock Street, in Manchester. In the following days Carole will be laid to rest, with her late husband John, in a private service at Temple Israel Cemetery in Charlestown, WV.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Manchester Visiting Nurses Association (manchestervna.org), who provided Carole with the utmost compassionate palliative care; or the National Multiple Sclerosis Society (https://www.nationalmssociety.org)
